The Middle - a tv sitcom review

I know I usually write about books, but today I will change the pace just a bit and take a look at TV. I don't watch a ton of TV, it is never on during the day, and I only have a few shows that I don't like to miss. How I met your mother is my all time favorite show that is on right now. I LOVE this show - the character Barney never fails to make me laugh.

This review is on the a new show called the Middle. This show stars Patricia Heaton, Neil Flynn, Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher, Chris Kattan, and Atticus Shaffer - who is the scene stealer as the son named Brick. The show is about a middle class family, the oldest son is always in trouble, the daughter Sue is a really weird kid who thinks she is good at everything and is really good at nothing. One episode, the punishment for the oldest son was that he had to be within 5 feet of his father at all times. It was hilarious. The last episode I watched, the daughter won a trip to New York, and the whole episode is about getting there. They lost Brick on the plane only to find him hidden, reading a book about menopause(menopause) that he took from a woman who was sleeping. This kid can't go anywhere without a book to read. I can relate! I should mention that when Brick likes something, he mumbles it into his chest after he has said it. That's the menopause joke.

Anyway, as far as TV goes, this show is something a bit different. It's not as popular as some of the other new shows, but I can't even name those shows because I just don't watch them. This show caught me off guard, I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. I might just find out what night it is on and plan to watch it, instead of just catching it sometimes!

Tonight is my favorite show however, How I met you Mother, on at 9pm. So don't call me because I won't answer!
